Dr. Jon and Dr. Amy are married and live in North Boulder with their daughter, Daphne, and 2 dogs, Izzy and Gnarly. Whether it's swinging golf clubs, hiking peaks, or fly-fishing, they love getting outside as much as possible. Providing comprehensive dentistry, they strive to make Boulder Canyon Dental a “one stop shop” in being able to treat 99% of all dental concerns. They intend to be the dentist Boulder, Colorado trusts.

Dr. Jon completed his Mastership in International Dental Implant Association in 2020. This prestigious recognition is demonstrated with over 50 peer reviewed implant cases, mastership examination, and over 250 hours of training in dental implants and advanced oral surgery training. He received his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2018. He has been a Mentor for CEREC since 2017, and continues to progress in same day dentistry. With a BS in Materials Engineering, Dr. Jon has the understanding of all dental materials used - which is an advantage not many offices have. Dr. Smith is highly reviewed as one of the best dentists in Boulder, CO.

Dr Amy completed her requirements for Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2020. Only 6% of general dentists achieve this in their career and our office has 2 of them! Dr Amy is currently pursuing her Mastership with AGD. In addition to general dentistry, Dr Amy really enjoys working with children and would love the opportunity to provide care to your entire family.
